Southwest Community Church
Established in 1996, Southwest Community Church has Harold L. Hickman as our pastor. He has seen Olathe grow from 12,000 to where it is today. Talk about change!
Having moved only once in his high school days, he attended Hocker Grove Junior High, Shawnee Mission North, Shawnee Mission Northwest, and Gardner.
After high school Harold's ministerial studies took him to Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri and Southwest Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie Texas. Ordained in 1980, his ministry has taken him from Kansas to Texas, to Missouri and back to his home area.
